Hinton Municipal Library has responded to the overwhelming interest of Library users to eReaders and is pleased to announce that 3 Kobo eReaders are available to loan to local cardholders. These devices can be borrowed as if they were books and will have current publications already installed, also, patrons can find ebook titles on the Tracpac catalog and sign them out to their Library account and then request that Library staff download the title on the eReader at time of loan.
An eReader Lending Agreement must be completed with Checkout and reviewed when the eReader is returned. These eReaders are Kobos and a Quick Review Guide will come with each one. Patrons will be liable for the replacement cost of the eReader should it be damaged. The eReader must be returned in person to Library staff at the Circulation Desk - please do not put eReaders into the Book Drop.
Each eReader has some pre-loaded titles - ask Library Staff to show you the titles on the eReader you borrow! How old do I have to be to borrow an eReader?
