Loan Periods, Renewals & Overdues

Bring your library card with each visit to borrow up to 15 items + 5 DVD/Videos at a time for the following loan periods:

Library Material Loan Period Renewals Overdues
Books, Talking Books, CDs 3 weeks 1* 10¢/day/item
Magazines (max 2) 2 weeks no renewal 10¢/day/item
DVDs (max 5) 2 weeks 1* 25¢/day/item
Literacy Storytime Bags 2 weeks 1* 25¢/day/item

  • *Renewal of library material (except magazines) is possible twice unless the item is reserved of is an Inter-Library Loan item.
  • Visit the library or phone (780) 865-2363 during library hours to renew library material or renew online.
  • Overdue charges apply to late returns.
  • Library materials may be returned anytime in the Bookdrop.
  • Ask Library Staff for extended vacation loans.

 

Circulating Magazines

  • Magazines for borrowing include back issues of most titles.
  • Items marked as NEW are for in library use only -- these items include newspapers, newsletters, current issues of magazines, and all Consumer Reports.
  • Up to 2 magazines can be borrowed at a time for a 2 week loan period. At this time it is not possible to renew magazines.
  • Check at the library Circulation Desk for more details.

Lost Cards

Please notify the library immediately if your library card is lost or stolen. The card can then be cancelled to prevent others from using it. Your membership card can be replaced for a nominal fee. 

Please notify the library in the event that your address, telephone number or email address changes.
